The Board of Minesto AB has appointed current Chairman of the Board, Martin Edlund, as acting CEO of Minesto AB. Today Martin Edlund is leading the work of the Board and has a long experience of the company.The appointment took place after Minestos current CEO, Anders Jansson decided to leave his position. Anders Jansson will remain as a resource for the company during his notice period. Anders Jansson, resigning CEO:“After a fantastic journey, with ten years at Minesto and nine years as CEO, the company is now entering a new phase, industrializing the Deep Green. After a successful IPO in 2015 and a fully funded business plan, I feel that someone with a more extensive industrial background would be of better benefit to the company.”Martin Edlund’s role as president will be temporary until the Board of Minesto has been able to identify and recruit a suitable successor.Dr. Martin Edlund, new CEO:”Minesto has during Anders’ management created a strong financial and technical base, that will further build the business in the years to come.
