Renewable energy.
From the ocean.

Generating electricity from predictable tidal streams and ocean currents by a unique principle

The worldwide movement of the oceans in tidal streams and ocean currents produces a rich source of energy that can be converted to a reliable and local source of renewable energy.

Unlike wind and solar, tidal streams and ocean currents are predictable. Tides are caused by the gravitational forces exerted on the earth by the moon. Ocean currents are the continuous, directional movement of seawater driven by gravity, wind, and water density.

Our subsea kite is designed to fly across the main flow direction, achieving a relative speed many times the current speed. This speed enhancement reduces the size of the kite and rotor required to collect the energy compared with a fixed turbine. As such, it is affordable to install, operate, and maintain.

Powerful, lightweight and modular power plants.

With an outstanding power-to-weight ratio, our kite systems can operate cost-effectively, enabling affordable energy from the ocean.
