Minesto and National Taiwan Ocean University signs collaboration agreement

Leading ocean energy developer Minesto has today signed a collaboration agreement together with the Research Center for Ocean Energy and Strategies at National Taiwan Ocean University. The collaboration
will include installation and ocean testing of a scale model and research on Minesto’s unique technology Deep Green.
“This is a breakthrough on a market with substantial potential to Minesto”, says Dr Martin Edlund, CEO of Minesto.

Leading Swedish tidal energy developer Minesto, together with industry and academia partners, have been granted research funds totalling SEK 5.7 million by the Swedish Energy Agency.

Leading marine renewable energy company Minesto, has together with eight partners received EUR 5.1 million, to develop the Deep Green technology within a project named PowerKite. The project will be financed through EU Horizon 2020.EU has a strong ambition to develop the field of marine energy and has quadrupled its budget over the next four years.
