Nordic marine energy leader Minesto (https://minesto.com/) has entered into a technology partnership with German tidal turbine manufacturer Schottel Hydro (http://www.schottel.de/schottel-hydro/). The objective is to supply Minesto with hydrokinetic turbine components in 2016 and 2017. ”This is a strategic technology partnership with one of the world leaders in underwater technology, ensuring the quality and performance of our marine power plant, Deep Green (https://minesto.com/deep-green/)”, said Minesto’s CEO, Anders Jansson.

Leading marine renewable energy company Minesto, has together with eight partners received EUR 5.1 million, to develop the Deep Green technology within a project named PowerKite. UK and Wales strengthen position as global leaders in marine renewable energy:
